Cirencester - the door to the Cotswolds, and incidentally under the name of Corinium, the second-biggest city of Roman Britain.
I could have spent hours in the Corinium Museum - actually, I did.

Those Belted Galloways (affectionately called "Belties") are placed there again courtesy of the National Trust to regulate the flora, same as the miniature Highlanders on Cape Cornwall.

That tourist lady spent at least ten minutes taking photos of the carcasses - I just wanted to get a shot of them with the funeral parlour sign in the background. (Actually, Gérald took the pictures.)

We finished the day in Gloucester ("cester" comes from the Romans, indicating a town or settlement - in fact the Romans introduced the concept of towns in England - when the Romans left Britain in the 5th century, Corinium was soon abandoned).
