We went down to the Jurassic Coast (which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list) in not-so-great weather on our last day in the southwest.

That tramway runs from Seaton to nearby Colyford.

A little bit to the west on the same coast lies Branscombe and its Sea Shanty coffee shop/restaurant.
Despite a diligent search, we found no fossiles on either beach. I guess I shouldn't complain, I already found one, twenty-odd years ago.

We had liked the Dartmoor so much, we returned to it with the clouds hanging even lower which made for a very wet crossing.
