The Arche Warder is a park for farm animals in danger of extinction - we got a private tour

swimming pigs, correctly Turopolje pigs from Croatia
they live in areas often flooded and learned to swim and even dive to find food
|
a mule and Poitou donkeys - the little ones are Felix (A-book, will go to France) and Fridolin (B-book, will stay)

Hungarian steppe cows - very popular now as tourist attractions in the Pussta

Angler cows - highly endangered (but very nice!)
we made a family photo session with them

a mixed group: some Hungarians, some German "Schwarzbunte" and a lone remaining Zebu

the calf on the far right is called Napoleon - he lost his mom at birth

these are English park cows (held in English parks for trophy hunting), a breed far older than its name

the lovely black yaks and the adorable Scottish Highlands are not endangered but part of the diversity of cows
